Job summary

Avid Bioservices, Inc. seeks a Supervisor, Supply Chain to lead Inventory Control and oversee Supply Chain Associates, Clerks and Coordinators onsite in California.

You will implement controls, monitor reorder points, and coordinate material flow with purchasing and manufacturing under cGMP standards. Daily duties include organizing materials, performing regular physical counts, training staff, documenting SOPs, and investigating discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to Inventory.
• Demonstrated experience working within a GMP regulated environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and document inventory controls and procedures in accordance with accounting and cGMP standards.
• Monitor all materials for re-order points, recommend adjustments to re-order points if needed for each raw material.
• Coordinate the movement of materials with purchasing, manufacturing, and other departments under cGMP standards.
• Maintain and update SOPs pertaining to raw material tracking.
• Perform physical inventory counts on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis as needed.
• Organize all raw materials in an easy to locate and count fashion.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate tracking of issued raw materials.
• Cross-train in receiving, packaging and shipping.
• Assist with functions such as issuing vials, finished product inventory, labeling, flash freezing and GMP shipments with QA oversight.
• Maintain all required documentation and controlled forms.
• Assist in training new staff.
• Provide direction to Supply Chain Clerks and coordinate floor activities.
