Job summary

ACL Digital is seeking an experienced Materials Handler to support on-the-floor warehouse operations in a cGMP biotech facility in South San Francisco. The role covers receiving, put-away, picking, and component preparation for manufacturing and shipping, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of GMP biotech experience, proficiency with SAP/WMS/MES, and a proven track record of training others and maintaining accurate quality records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of GMP experience in biotechnology industry.
• Experience with lean warehouse setups.
• Proficient with SAP/WMS/MES systems.
• Experience training/mentoring other Material Handlers.
• Proficient in quality record documentation and SOPs.
• Experience developing procedures and technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Support the warehouse operations team and ensure safe, compliant execution of on-the-floor activities (receiving, put away, picking, component prep for manufacturing and shipping).
• Maintain performance targets and participate in daily huddles (safety, quality, cost, performance).
• Investigate issues using problem solving techniques to determine root causes.
• Lead continuous improvement projects with cross-functional support.
• Review and own documentation for transfer protocols, validation, SOPs and batch records.
• Support internal and external audits and SOX compliance reviews.
