Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions in Coral Springs, FL, is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to manage warehouse activities, assist with deliveries, and support inventory systems. You’ll handle shipments, operate forklifts and scanners, prepare schedules, and ensure safe, accurate handling of materials.

Ideal candidates have a year of warehousing experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to meet DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of material handling or warehouse operations.
• Ability to coordinate paperwork and execute multiple activities.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Must meet all DOT (Dept Of Transportation) requirements once hired.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform various warehouse activities including verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, disposition of materials and maintenance of inventory database system.
• Back-Up Delivery Driver as needed. Safe vehicle operation and DOT compliance.
• Load and unload freight/products safely; communicate identified problems to management.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklift, hand truck, scanners, iPads and computers; assemble, pack and pick materials.
• Perform counting activities for physical inventory, cycle count, shipping or receiving accuracy.
• Create the daily delivery schedule for management review and coordinate deliveries.
• Confirm deliveries with customers and update the scheduling system; coordinate equipment moves with sales and service.
• Ensure all systems are up to date and accurate; run reports as required.
• Inspect physical condition of warehouse and related equipment.
• Oversee receipt of shipments and storage compliance.
• Maintain clean, neat and orderly work area; adhere to safety rules and security procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned.
