Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula to support its warehouse operations in Hickory, NC. The role involves transporting items into trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks, and working safely in multi-temperature environments to ensure timely shipments.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10–90 pounds.
• Work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence.
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
• Wraps pallets with cellophane, secures loads and prints shipping labels.
• Locates trailer slots, secures loads, and ensures proper inventory flow.
• Inspects and moves pallets to proper storage areas.
• Performs housekeeping and maintains clean work areas.
• Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
• Completes end-of-shift paperwork and secures equipment.
