Job summary

Vistar is seeking a Warehouse Loader Formula to ensure efficient product flow through distribution centers. You will transport items, operate pallet jacks or forklifts, and prepare pallets for shipping while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will work in a fast-paced environment across multiple temperature zones, perform routine equipment checks, and support the team with various duties as needed to maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ years of warehouse/distribution work experience with motorized pallet jack.
• Must be able to work scheduled/otimes and stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly.
• Ability to lift 10-35 lbs and up to 60-90 lbs depending on location; able to work in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Transport items to trailers using forklift, pallet jack or by hand following loading plan.
• Locate proper slot on trailer and secure load.
• Remove empty pallets and inspect pallets for damage and move to storage area.
• Perform general housekeeping and keep areas clean and safe according to guidelines.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Conduct safety checks on equipment and prepare for operations.
• Wear required PPE and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
• Assist Order Selectors and perform related duties as assigned.
