Job summary

Vistar is seeking a Loader Formula to ensure efficient loading of outgoing freight. You will operate forklifts or pallet jacks, secure loads, and follow safety procedures across a multi-temperature warehouse environment.

The role requires 6+ months warehouse experience, ability to lift heavy loads, and adherence to overtime schedules. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 4pm finish, with a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence.
• Locates the proper slot on the trailer for the order and secures the load.
• Removes empty pallets and inspects pallets for damage; moves pallets with pallet jack or forklift.
• Performs general housekeeping and keeps warehouse area clean and safe.
• Follows all safety policies and prepares equipment and supplies for operations.
• Secures equipment and completes necessary paperwork at end of shift.
