Job summary

First Federal Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager to source, cultivate, and manage warehouse lending relationships with mortgage bankers nationwide. You will assess credit risk, coordinate with the credit team, and present facility requests to the loan committee.

The role requires travel across the country, strong communication and analytical skills, and a bachelor's in business. You will cross-sell bank products and support growth while preserving service quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in mortgage banking sales or lending environment.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities essential.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source warehouse line applications from mortgage bankers meeting credit criteria.
• Review financial analyses performed by the credit department.
• Conduct background checks on mortgage companies and guarantors.
• Present requests for new warehouse facilities and annual reviews to loan committee.
• Perform site visits to mortgage bankers’ offices as needed.
• Attend industry conferences to grow existing relationships and source new clients.
• Ensure timely receipt of financial data for covenant monitoring and reporting.
• Cross-sell other bank products to deepen relationships.
