Job summary

First Horizon Bank in Germantown, TN is seeking a Mortgage Warehouse Lending Sales professional responsible for developing new business, prospecting, selling, closing and managing existing relationships.

You will call on current and potential customers, assess their warehouse lending needs, develop proposals and coordinate cross-sell opportunities with related departments, negotiating pricing with senior officer guidance and building a high-value client portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years selling (or lending) experience required.
• 4-6 years financial selling and accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required for consideration, Masters preferred.

Summary:

This position is within our Mortgage Warehouse Lending Group.

Responsible for all aspects of business development, including prospecting, selling, closing and managing existing customer relationships.

Calls on current or potential customers; investigates customer needs for warehouse lending products and services; develops sales proposals; introduces customers to other departments for cross-sell opportunities; negotiates with customers on pricing, etc. with senior officer guidance; develops economic profit from credit and deposit services; finalizes and closes deals with senior officer assistance.

Builds and maintains a portfolio mix of targeted high value and high potential clients.

Works closely with Relationship Team that consists of a Portfolio Manager & an Analyst.

Requirements

2-4 years selling (or lending), negotiation & customer service experience required; 4-6 years financial selling & accounting experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree required for consideration (or equivalent); Masters preferred.

Most customers are located out-of-state and will require substantial travel.

Candidate expected to live locally to Warehouse Lending headquartered in Germantown, TN.
