Job summary

nVent is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations in Aberdeen, NC. You will supervise planning, staffing, and distribution while promoting safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires experience in distribution, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office tools. You will mentor staff, coordinate cross-functional projects, and uphold a Zero Harm safety culture on the floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ideally 3 years in a distribution environment and 3 years in a leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily warehouse activities including planning, directing, and coordinating orders and distribution.
• Lead day-to-day activities on the warehouse floor with safety and performance oversight.
• Provide leadership to ensure resources meet safety, service, cost and productivity goals.
• Assist quality manager with quality claims investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Drive Lean/kaizen initiatives and continuous improvement in distribution concepts.
