Job summary

nVent, a global leader in electrical connection and protection solutions, seeks a Manufacturing Team Leader in Minnesota. You will directly lead Market Team employees, oversee daily material flow, and ensure timely servicing of production lines while using visual management tools to communicate priorities.

You will deploy Lean methodologies to remove waste, strengthen standard work, and develop improvement projects related to movement, pick accuracy, and line service reliability, with payroll

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience, with leadership exposure preferred.
• 2+ years Lean manufacturing experience and Lean concepts.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead Market Team employees, including training and performance reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day material flow to keep inventory accurate and lines serviced.
• Use visual boards to communicate priorities and identify issues.
• Drive Lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve replenishment routes.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and support safety programs.
• Submit payroll hours weekly and handle exceptions as needed.
• Support new process/product introductions with effective material flow.
• Develop improvement projects in material movement, pick accuracy and line reliability.
