Job summary

IDI: Insulation Distributors Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a Warehouse Lead to assist DC management in efficient warehouse operations including order fulfillment, deliveries, inventory maintenance and staff training.

Responsibilities include processing orders, loading/unloading, inventory counts, safety compliance, and providing excellent customer service while supporting the DC Manager. Forklift experience preferred and a High School diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Equipment operation including forklift, pallet jack, shrink wrapper.
• Identify product numbers and alpha/numeric codes.
• Must meet physical requirements of the job.
• Use/learn computer order entry and inventory systems.
• Achieve set goals in a timely manner.
• Ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Order Processing and Fulfillment: Place orders, pull materials, verify accuracy, support deliveries, loading/unloading, and ensure secure transport.
• Receiving and Inventory Management: Unload, put away stock, note damages, assist cycle counts, track inventory.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain safe aisles, report safety issues, observe regulations, participate in trainings.
• Customer Service and Support: Provide excellent service, fulfill driver duties, support DC Manager.
• Other Duties: Other duties as needed by IDI.
