Job summary

nVent is seeking a results-driven Operations Leader to manage Procurement, Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving and Material Flow. You will partner with Supply Chain leadership to drive procurement initiatives, lead time reductions, and Lean improvements while aligning resources, mentoring teams, and promoting a hands-on problem-solving culture on site in Houston.

This role requires 5+ years in manufacturing or warehousing, a degree preferred, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

Bachelor's or associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
5+ years in Manufacturing, Materials, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Shipping or Receiving.
Strong written and verbal communication; able to influence views clearly.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
Clear understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts; ability to deploy new processes.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations of Procurement, Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, and Material Flow.
Drive procurement initiatives, lead time reductions, and outsourcing opportunities.
Provide resources, direction, and problem solving to meet business goals.
Foster continuous improvement and recognize exceptional work.
