Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, oversee daily operations, and provide backup support to supervisors. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and process improvement within a fast-paced distribution environment.

The Warehouse Lead will train forklift drivers, conduct PIT certifications, and ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations while maintaining efficient warehouse workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to perform daily tasks.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification training for forklift operators.
• Perform safety, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials.
• Complete shipping, labeling and paperwork per SOPs and regulatory guidance.
• Participate in cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks and maintain inspection readiness.
• Assist with product rotation and inventory control; back up other warehouse roles as needed.
• Review production reports and communicate findings to supervision.
