Michael Foods, Inc. Wakefield facility is seeking a Leads Person to work with the department supervisor on training, ensuring a safe workplace, and assigning tasks. The role involves aiding in training, updating procedures, and ensuring compliance with GMP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with trucks, ensuring accurate deliveries, assisting with cycle counts, and supporting inventory and sanitation efforts. Overtime and alternate shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Preferred).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Must be able to obtain forklift operator license.
• Must have basic computer skills (Excel, Word).

Responsabilités

• Assist in training processing and production personnel.
• Update training when equipment changes or new procedures are implemented.
• Maintain safe work environment and food safety standards.
• Move and organize inventory; load/unload trucks.
• Enter receipts in SAP and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate deliveries and shipments with trucking partners.
• Support sanitation and GMP compliance.
