Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. Wakefield facility seeks a production-oriented team member to help lead daily operations. You will support safety, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement while coordinating tasks for department personnel.

The role requires weekend/overtime availability and basic computer skills; forklift license is a plus and Spanish language skills are welcome to assist a diverse team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to work overtime or weekends when required.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) are expected.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Help lead day-to-day production operations and support safety, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Assigns work tasks to department personnel.
• Assist with safety audits and maintain control records.
• Monitor lines for quality and notify when discrepancies are found.
• Operates forklift and pallet jack as needed.
• Follow SOPs and ensure safe, sanitary workplace.
