Job summary

Kenco Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Lead in Georgia to coach and train warehouse associates, cover supervision tasks, and support multiple departments including shipping, inventory, and material handling. The Lead provides backup to the supervisor and ensures safety, compliance, and efficient daily operations on the floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct performance and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
• Complete paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Participate in inventory/cycle count activities and report variances.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report incidents to supervisor.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Review and analyze daily production reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles as needed.
