Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a warehouse supervisor to lead daily operations in our Anchorage facility. You will plan, schedule, and supervise crew activities, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and order fulfillment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 2-4 years of supervisory warehousing experience, a degree in logistics or related field, and strong organizational and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years' experience in warehousing.
• 2-4 years supervisory experience in warehousing preferred.
• Understanding of warehouse regulations regarding quality and safety.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to define performance measures and hold associates accountable.

Responsibilities

• Plan warehouse work operations in line with shipping, receiving, store order replenishment, perishability, and stock rotation requirements.
• Schedule and assign warehouse crew and equipment to meet daily volume and schedules.
• Supervise warehouse crews in a unionized environment.
• Supervise truck loading, order selecting, and receiving.
• Coach, train, and lead teams to achieve performance in receiving, processing, storage, and loading.
• Maintain compliance with safety programs and company policies.
• Take inventory and report out-of-stock or overstock situations; perform administrative duties for warehouse functions.
