Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. in Springdale, AR is seeking a Warehouse Lead to supervise the daily warehouse shift, prioritize tasks, and ensure production support and customer service needs are met. The role requires problem solving, coverage for call-outs, and directing team members during the shift.

The candidate will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and work at the Springdale location, focusing on safety, quality, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of Forklift experience.
• At least 2 years warehousing experience.
• At least 1 year of Lead experience.
• Experience in the food/beverage industry and strong communication skills are preferred.
• Detail oriented with multitasking ability and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Check in the driver, load the truck using FIFO, print the BOL and sign out the driver.
• Load, unload and pre-stage finished goods and ingredient loads.
• Lead by example in the clean as you go program and communicate findings.
• Conduct daily area walk-throughs and notify teams of issues.
• Recognize and reward good behavior; provide guidance as needed.
• Ensure proper product rotation and tagging; prevent damaged goods.
• Train new employees and supervise shifts; cover for absences.
• Perform audits for tagging locations and lines; maintain food safety standards.
• Escalate food safety or quality issues and maintain SQF compliance.
• Collaborate with management to resolve issues within scope of work.
