Job summary

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; forklift experience (2+ years); warehousing experience (2+ years); lead experience (1+ year).
• Preferred qualifications include excellent verbal and written communication, detail orientation, multi-tasking, time management, ability to work independently, credibility and integrity, and the ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Check in the driver and load the truck using FIFO, print the BOL, and sign out the driver.
• Lead by example in the clean-as-you-go program and direct others.
• Conduct daily area walkthroughs and communicate findings to the team.
• Provide positive recognition to employees exhibiting good behavior.
• Coordinate cleanup and communicate gaps to other shifts and departments.
• Ensure proper product rotation and tagging; supervise forklift drivers on shipping oldest product first.
• Maintain product quality and prevent damage in the warehouse.
• Perform tagging location audits and verify tag accuracy on each line.
• Follow up on rotation to ensure oldest product is shipped first; hold any aging stock.
• Train new employees and provide guidance; be accessible for questions.
