Job summary

Powertrain Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly capable warehouse professional in Virginia Beach to lead and optimize daily logistics, inventory, and shipping activities.

The role involves acting as an interim Warehouse Manager when needed, coordinating with multiple teams, and ensuring accuracy in inventory control systems such as SAP, DSP, and CSI. You will plan shipments, resolve issues, train new staff, and uphold customer satisfaction by coordinating with Supply Chain and Customer Service.

Qualifications

• Leadership, organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong math skills and proficiency with warehouse systems.
• Advanced computer skills including MRP, email, chat, internet and scanning.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warm environments.

Responsibilities

• Expert in one or multiple areas of the warehouse department.
• Communicates with Branch, Warehouse, and Operations Manager regarding daily operations.
• Scheduling LTL and FTL shipments and investigating logistical issues.
• Ability to step in as interim Warehouse Manager if absent.
• Expert in inventory control systems using DSP, CSI, or SAP.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through communications with Supply Chain and Customer Service.
• Plan and carry out all training of new team members as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
