Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead to support receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory. You will mentor warehouse staff, track performance, and ensure safety standards across shifts.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in truck parts warehousing, forklift certification, and a proactive approach to process improvement. This is a full-time on-site role based in Hickory, NC with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience with truck parts.
• Forklift certification required.
• Experience leading or mentoring warehouse team members preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy through receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
• Identify inventory variances and support corrective actions.
• Suggest process improvements to boost warehouse efficiency.
• Provide daily support and direction to warehouse team members.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring of new staff.
• Communicate job expectations and monitor progress with management.
• Support safety procedures and conduct team safety huddles.
• Participate in meetings and relay operational concerns.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory reports.
