Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking an experienced warehouse professional in Virginia Beach to oversee daily operations and act as a potential interim Warehouse Manager. The role emphasizes leadership, inventory control, and cross-functional communication within Supply Chain and Customer Service.

Candidates should have strong experience with MRP systems, ERP platforms like SAP, and the ability to train new team members while maintaining safety and efficiency in a high-temperature warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Need strong leadership and organizational abilities.
Excellent communication and math skills are required.
Advanced computer skills including MRP systems, email, chat, internet and scanning systems.

Responsibilities

Expert in one or multiple areas of the warehouse department.
Communicates with Branch, Warehouse, and Operations Manager regarding daily operations.
Scheduling LTL and FTL shipments and investigating logistical issues.
Ability to step in as interim Warehouse Manager if absent.
Expert in inventory control systems using DSP, CSI, or SAP.
Ensures customer satisfaction through communicating with Supply Chain and Customer Service regarding material, product, orders, shipments, etc.
Plan and carry out all training of new team members as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
