Job summary

Amazon in Richardson, TX, is seeking a Lead Associate to support a fast-paced delivery operation. You’ll supervise teams, ensure safety and quality, and help deliver a superior customer experience while coordinating with delivery partners and shifting resources as needed.

The role requires flexibility across sites within 10 miles, with a focus on training, process improvement, and on-the-floor leadership to meet customer expectations and operational targets.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Can lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending and reaching
• Work 40 hours per week and overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Support, motivate, and model desired behavior for the rest of the team
• Manage operational processes, safety, quality, performance, and customer delivery promises per Regional Area Manager guidance
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized workspace
• Provide ongoing training in areas including system and equipment knowledge and quality training
• Provide feedback on processes and standards and assist associates in solving issues
• Maintain the site key and follow opening/closing procedures
• Handle products including produce, meat, seafood, and alcoholic beverages
• Receive truck deliveries and collaborate with associates and delivery partners
