Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations at our Hanover, PA facility. The role coordinates staff, maintains accurate inventory, processes pick lists, and ensures safe, compliant operations in a food manufacturing environment.

The position offers a 7:00a–7:00p rotating shift (Crew C) and requires a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years in manufacturing. SAP experience is a plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office and lean tools is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret internal and regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Basic math and statistics skills.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools.

Responsibilities

• Verify trailer contents and documentation for accuracy.
• Perform SAP transactions for shipping and receiving functions.

About the Role:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating loaders, maintaining accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods, and ensuring the efficient movement of materials between facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational flow, safety, and compliance with food safety standards.

• Coordinate warehouse staff to meet shipping, receiving, and production demands.
• Receive and process Pick Lists; oversee trailer loading and unloading.
• Complete Trailer Inspection Reports and inspect questionable product (sample bags as needed).
• Verify trailer contents and documentation for accuracy before release.
• Perform SAP transactions for both shipping and receiving functions.
• Manage inbound/outbound drivers and communicate with dispatchers to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with production leaders to maintain a smooth production flow.
• Maintain accurate film and material inventory, including transfers between warehouses.
• Ensure forklift operators follow all safety protocols, GMPs, and housekeeping standards.
• Enforce food safety and quality standards as outlined in SQF guidelines.
• Participate in monthly safety and training activities.
• Support Continuous Improvement and 5S initiatives; contribute to Process Improvement Teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and plant operations.
• Foster effective communication and teamwork with staff and management.

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role on Crew C working from 7:00a to 7:00p rotating shift:

Week 1:

Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7am to 7pm

Week 2:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7am to 7pm.

About You:

• One to three years’ experience in manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels of the organization
