Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Packer for the Hanover, PA facility. This full-time production position supports the Manufacturing team across multiple shifts, handling bagging, boxing, labeling, and general packaging duties.

Responsibilities include packing pretzel bags, labeling, stacking, cleaning the work area, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime and weekend work are required as needed. Competitive pay tiers by shift are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience following instructions and using process documents.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Grab Pretzel bags off the packing table and place them inside the box.
• Tape the box and send it through the case labeler.
• Stack items and prepare for packing.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety protocols.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

The Packer role at the Hanover location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Grab Pretzel bags off the packing table and place them inside the box
• Tape the box and send it through the case labeler
• Stack
• Clean work area
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Other duties as assigned

Important Details

We are hiring for several full-time, permanent positions across multiple shifts:

8-Hour Shifts

1st Shift

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays
• Pay Rate: $20.79/hour

2nd Shift

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays
• Pay Rate: $21.29/hour (includes shift differential)

3rd Shift

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with occasional Saturdays
• Pay Rate: $22.04/hour (includes shift differential)

12-Hour Rotating Shifts

Rotating Schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on

Crew A

Pay Rate: $20.79/hour

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Crew B

Pay Rate: $20.79/hour

• Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Crew C

Pay Rate: $22.04/hour (includes shift differential)

• Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Crew D

Pay Rate: $22.04/hour (includes shift differential)

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

About You

You’ll fit right in if you have:

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
