Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead for the 2nd shift to oversee a team in the warehouse and ensure smooth operations. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, task delegation, coaching, and adherence to safety and company policies.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in a warehouse setting, SAP/WMS experience, and the ability to train staff while maintaining high service levels. This position is on-site and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels and on-time order completion.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach warehouse team and provide developmental opportunities; recommend performance improvements.
• Utilize warehouse management system and maintain work documents.
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures.
• Safely operate equipment used in the warehouse.
• Provide support to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate issues.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment according to the 7S methodology.
