Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Lead to oversee warehouse operations on the 2nd shift in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will supervise the warehouse team, assign tasks, train staff, and ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of warehouse experience, SAP experience, and familiarity with WMS and handheld scanners. Willingness to work 2nd shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide development opportunities; suggest performance improvements as needed.
• Utilize the warehouse management system and maintain appropriate work documents.
• Establish and promote exceptional customer service.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate various equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate issues.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
• Work safely to protect yourself and teammates.
