Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Lead to oversee a warehouse team on the 1st shift (Mon–Thu, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM). You will ensure inventory accuracy, assign tasks, and coach staff to optimize performance. Proficiency in SAP and WMS plus handheld scanners is required.

The role emphasizes safety, policy adherence, and delivering reliable daily solutions for customers while supporting a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained and orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide developmental opportunities; suggest performance improvements as needed.
• Utilize the warehouse management system and maintain work documents.
• Promote exceptional customer service and enforce company policies and safety procedures.
