Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm) in Wilmer, TX. You will oversee the warehouse team, ensure inventory accuracy and on-time order fulfillment, and coach staff to improve performance.

The role requires at least 2 years in a warehouse, 1 year SAP experience, and hands-on use of WMS and handheld scanners. A supervisory background and a high school diploma are preferred. Benefits include health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained and orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide developmental opportunities; recommend performance improvements as needed.
• Utilize warehouse management system and maintain work documents.
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures.
• Safely operate equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Adhere to the 7S program by maintaining a clean environment.
• Work in a safe manner to protect yourself and teammates.
