Warehouse Lead

Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product onto trailers and prepare documentation (bill of lading and invoice).

Essential Functions
  • Complete all essential functions of the Warehouse Associate position.
  • Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members.
  • Manage communication flow to load finished products onto trailers.
  • Communicate instructions to equipment inside the warehouse.
  • Coordinate trailer loading locations.
  • Prepare documentation for purchase orders (Bill of Lading and invoice).
  • Communicate with carriers to ensure timely collection and loading of finished products.
  • Review operator and carrier data in the Tracking Platform.
  • Maintain food safety practices and SQF System requirements.
  • Report deviations, problems, or abnormalities with equipment, processes, or products.
  • Perform any other tasks as reasonably assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in a related manufacturing environment, in the position, and managing people/projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in a similar environment, position, and in management roles.

Additional Requirements:

  • No travel required.
Competencies
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle.
  • Good communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to analyze information and communicate effectively across organizational levels.
