Job summary

Capstone is a North American supply chain solutions partner with a broad footprint across warehouses and distribution centers. We seek a high-energy Warehouse Associate in Kathleen, GA to support receiving, unloading/loading, and yard operations with safety-focused teamwork.

You will participate in pre-shift meetings, perform stretch and safety checks, and learn all aspects of operations while working alone or in teams.

Qualifications

• High-energy and strong work ethic in a fast-paced, physical environment.
• Lift and carry 25–75 lbs; prior warehouse or equipment experience is preferred but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Shift meetings and stretchings.
• Safety observations and coaching.
• Training and communication with leadership.
• Yard marshalling and handling pallets/cases with forklift or pallet jack.
• Learn receiving, unloading and loading operations.

The Opportunity:

Duties will be:

• Pre-Shift meetings
• Stretching exercises before each shift.
• Safety observations
• Support management
• Coaching
• Training
• Communication with leadership
• Plus all the yard marshalling duties

This is the next step in an associate's path to management

You will learn al all aspects of receiving /unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision

Work with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel; emphasis is placed on the ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner

Oversee a specified area within work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations

Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand

Requirements:

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical
• Lift and carry 25-75lbs, materials handled vary Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
