• Prior warehouse experience is preferred but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving/unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility.
• Work alone or in teams with minimal supervision; maintain workflow to meet customer expectations.
• Operate forklifts and hand equipment to move pallets and cases; coordinate with site personnel.

The Opportunity

• This is the next step in an associate's path to management
• You will learn al all aspects of receiving /unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision
• Work with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel; emphasis is placed on the ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner
• Oversee a specified area within work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations
• Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand

Requirements

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical
• Lift and carry 25-75lbs, materials handled vary
• Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
