Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a high-energy warehouse associate in Melrose Park, IL. You will learn all aspects of receiving, unloading, and loading operations, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision, and interacting with customer staff and delivery personnel.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and firsthand experience across yard marshalling duties, pallets handling, and site operations. Training and growth opportunities are emphasized as part of a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee a specified area within the warehouse to ensure consistent workflow and meet customer expectations.
• Handle movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Perform pre-shift activities, safety observations, and assist in coaching/training as needed.
• Support management and participate in coaching and communication with leadership.

This is the next step in an associate's path to management You will learn al all aspects of receiving /unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision Work with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel; emphasis is placed on the ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner Oversee a specified area within work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand

Requirements:

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical
• Lift and carry 25-75lbs, materials handled vary
• Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
