Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efficient operation of the department and ensure procedures are documented and followed.
• Monitor KPIs, Quality Metrics, timecard exceptions & productivity; ensure accuracy.
• Provide back up to the Supervisor during absences.
• Liaise with all operational departments for smooth workflow.
• Lead staff by setting expectations and modeling leadership in warehouse operations.
• Work schedule to meet production goals and KPIs; schedule may fluctuate.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for an experienced L3: Warehouse Lead, based in Cheyenne, WY to plan, direct and coordinate the operations at the facility. It's an exciting time to join the DP World team!

About The Role

How you will contribute

• Coordinate efficient operation of the department and ensure procedures are documented and followed.
• Assist with monitoring daily KPI’s, Quality Metrics, employee timecard exceptions & productivity administration is completed accurately and on time.
• Provide back up and support to the Supervisor and to represent him/her fully in periods of absence (sickness, holiday, business meetings, etc.) when required.
• Liaison with all operational departments to ensure smooth work flow & maximum synergy.
• Provide leadership to staff by establishing clear expectations and acting as a role model and assist with planning, overseeing and participating in the warehouse operations and activities.
• Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED.
• Experience in a Lead role.
• Experience in a Logistics or Manufacturing environment.
• Prior forklift experience.
