Job summary

DP World in Los Lunas, NM is seeking a proactive L3: Warehouse Lead to plan, direct and coordinate our warehouse operations. The role grants authority to develop and expand our processes while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a lead role experience in logistics or manufacturing, HS diploma or GED, and forklift experience. You will drive KPIs, support the supervisor, and foster teamwork across departments to meet production goals.

• Prior forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efficient operation of the department and ensure procedures are documented and followed.
• Monitor daily KPIs, quality metrics, employee timecard exceptions & productivity administration to be completed accurately and on time.
• Provide backup and support to the Supervisor and represent them during absences.
• Liaise with all operational departments to ensure smooth workflow and maximum synergy.
• Provide leadership to staff by establishing clear expectations and acting as a role model; assist with planning and overseeing warehouse operations and activities.
• Work scheduled as necessary to meet production goals and KPIs; schedule may fluctuate based on business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

About The Role

How you will contribute

• Coordinate efficient operation of the department and ensure procedures are documented and followed.
• Assist with monitoring daily KPIs, Quality Metrics, employee timecard exceptions & productivity administration is completed accurately and on time.
• Provide back up and support to the Supervisor and to represent him/her fully in periods of absence (sickness, holiday, business meetings, etc.) when required.
• Liaison with all operational departments to ensure smooth work flow & maximum synergy.
• Provide leadership to staff by establishing clear expectations and acting as a role model and assist with planning, overseeing and participating in the warehouse operations and activities.
• Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications
