Job summary

DP World Middletown II is seeking a Warehouse Lead for 1st Shift to drive efficient warehouse operations. You will coordinate daily activities, ensure procedures are documented, and model strong customer service and teamwork.

You will monitor KPIs and quality metrics, back up the Supervisor during absences, liaise with other departments, and lead staff with clear expectations. Flexibility is needed to meet production goals and KPIs as the site evolves.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED.
• Experience in a Lead role.
• Experience in a Logistics or Manufacturing environment.
• Prior forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efficient operation of the department and ensure procedures are documented and followed.
• Assist with monitoring daily KPI’s, Quality Metrics, employee timecard exceptions & productivity administration is completed accurately and on time.
• Provide back up and support to the Supervisor and to represent him/her fully in periods of absence when required.
• Liaison with all operational departments to ensure smooth work flow & maximum synergy.
• Provide leadership to staff by establishing clear expectations and acting as a role model and assist with planning, overseeing and participating in the warehouse operations and activities.
• Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
• Other duties as assigned.

How you will contribute
