As a Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team of Warehouse Associates. Your main focus will be motivating, mentoring, and coaching your team. You will be responsible for leading your team during a shift to maintain high levels of employee engagement, safety, quality, and productivity. You will need to understand and support all warehouse functions but will be assigned to one of three areas: Inbound, Inventory, Fulfillment & Shipping. Success will be driven by employee development, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

What can you expect as a Fulfillment Lead with Meier & Dutch?

• Leading a team of Warehouse Associates
• Driving adherence to safety policies and OSHA standards, contributing to a safety-focused culture
• Engaging with employees and acting as their first-line leader for support
• Developing and coaching employees to build a strong talent bench
• Supervising processes and managing labor to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
• Partnering with other Leads to balance labor during variable throughput/volume periods
• Analyzing performance proactively and developing action plans to address concerns
• Supporting internal customers through effective communication and timely concern resolution
• Fostering an inclusive team environment focused on respect and customer obsession
• Creating, managing, and supporting recognition and communication programs
• Ensuring policies and procedures are followed, with progressive coaching when needed

Additionally, as our Fulfillment Lead, you will have:

• At least 1 year of proven experience in achieving and improving performance metrics
• At least 1 year of inventory control experience
• At least 1 year of operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, automated pallet jacks, etc.)
• Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies

Key knowledge and expertise required for this role:

• 2+ years in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or fulfillment center setting
• 2+ years of experience leading teams larger than 20 individuals
• Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime when needed
