ASSA ABLOY is looking for a Warehouse Team Lead at our regional manufacturing facility (or Service Center) based in Aurora, Colorado.

What would you do as our Warehouse Team Lead?

You will play an integral role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and motivating a small team to meet and exceed performance goals. Responsibilities include all shipping/receiving operations, warehouse inventory management, transactions, cycle and physical inventory counts, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The role involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, and operating equipment like scissor lifts and forklifts.

You would also:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with policies and safety regulations.
• Provide direction and training to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and loading processes.
• Coordinate orders to meet schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with 3rd Party Logistics and Customer Service teams.
• Communicate with Production regarding inventory.
• Maintain supplies and organize work areas.
• Optimize warehouse layout and efficiency.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform inventory counts and related tasks accurately and timely.
• Contribute to strategic goals, monitor costs, and maintain high inventory accuracy (target 99.5%).
• Handle special projects and assignments.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and harmonious work environment.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, company policies, and the Code of Conduct.

The Skills and Experience you need:

• High school diploma or GED; additional certifications (e.g., forklift) are a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of incoming materials, storage, and product identification.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and using RF scanners and scales.
• Experience with ERP systems, Oracle, J.D. Edwards, or WMS is advantageous.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Physical ability to stand and walk throughout shifts.
• Leadership, motivation, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented mindset focused on achieving goals.

Salary range: Up to $55k
