AKIRA IT Support Specialist in the Bolingbrook warehouse ensures all technology systems operate smoothly, supporting hardware, software, networking, WMS, and robotic equipment. You will be the first line of support for Geekplus AMRs, label printers, and handheld scanners, coordinating with operations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years IT support or related experience.
• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with ITSM and ticketing (Freshservice) and SLAs.
• Experience with label printers (TSC, Zebra) and handheld scanners.
• Familiarity with Geekplus or similar robotics (AMRs).
• Mechanical aptitude and basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of Wi‑Fi networks and access points.
• Willingness to complete Geekplus training on robots.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support to warehouse staff and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Troubleshoot WMS, printers, scanners, and robotics; maintain system stability.
• Manage IT tickets and SLA adherence in Freshservice.
• Document resolutions and update IT procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership to minimize downtime.
