Job summary

Steinway in New York is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Supervisor to manage inventory flow for manufacturing, retailers, and dealers. You will oversee receiving, storage, and delivery to the plant; process work orders and ensure timely support from the team.

The role requires supervising clerks, coordinating material cycle counts, and maintaining ERP data accuracy. Familiarity with ERP, Excel, and vendor interactions is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• Industrial warehouse experience with supervisory background.
• Familiar with receiving and part number procedures.
• Strong inventory control procedures and data entry experience.
• Experience with vendor interactions and warehouse settings.
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all incoming and outgoing materials for the New York site.
• Process requisitions for materials and ensure approvals in the internal system.
• Train and supervise warehouse clerks; lead daily meetings.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy.
• Manage warehouse security and safety measures.
• Handle warranty/new part stock orders and related shipping.
• Maintain ERP transactions for incoming/outgoing material and scrap.
• Collaborate with NY Procurement on discrepancies.
