Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions in Omaha, NE is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support inventory, staging, packing, and shipping of electronic equipment. The role requires operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment and using computer-based inventory systems to entry and track material.

You will work to maintain a hazard-free workspace, coordinate with facility personnel, and prepare shipping documents.

Qualifications

• Two years of warehouse experience with inventory, staging, packing, storage, and shipping.
• Proficient with computer-based inventory systems and bar-coding.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business software.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials against receiving documents and report discrepancies.
• Process materials in automated inventory management system.
• Route materials to storage locations and maintain accurate records.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to load/unload trucks.
• Maintain a clean hazard-free workspace and manage Government Furnished Equipment storage.
• Prepare Direct Turn Over (DTO) and DD1149 for packaging.
