Job summary

The position requires two years of warehouse experience, familiarity with inventory systems, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Two-year experience in warehouse duties including packing, shipping, receiving, filling customer orders, picking merchandise, packing accuracy checks, and inventory tracking.
• Understanding of inventory control systems.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/bend for long periods.
• Ability to operate a variety of tools.
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and handcarts.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and practices.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System for inventory control.
• Proven ability to manage workload across multiple warehouse operations.
• Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of warehousing activities including gear and equipment management, receiving, storing, issuing, reconstitution, and shipping.
• Conducts accurate packing and shipping of material.
• Receives and fills customer orders.
• Picks merchandise, packs, checks against orders for accuracy, and tracks inventory and shipments.
• Loads and unloads materials and products as needed.
• Organizes inventory per warehouse procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
