Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Warehouse Specialist in Kaneohe, Hawaii to manage gear and equipment, coordinate packing, shipping and inventory control. The role includes lifting, operating forklifts and handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Two-year warehouse experience with knowledge of inventory systems and OSHA guidelines is required. Competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Two-year experience in warehouse duties including packing, shipping and inventory tracking.
• Understanding of inventory control systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Experience using Warehouse Management System for inventory control.
• Experience operating forklift and handcarts.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of warehousing activities including management of gear and equipment.
• Receives, stores, issues, reconstitutes, sews/tailors as required, inventories and ships materials.
• Conducts accurate packing and shipping of material.
• Receives and fills customer orders and verifies accuracy against orders.
• Picks merchandise, packs, and tracks inventory and shipments.
• Loads and unloads materials and organizes warehouse inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
