Job summary

Technica LLC is recruiting a Warehouse Specialist for a Government contract in New Cumberland, PA. The role runs on a first shift from 6:00am to 14:30pm, focusing on stock control, material verification, and orderly storage.

The ideal candidate will hold secret clearance eligibility, be able to lift 50 lbs, learn MHE operation, and maintain SOP and safety standards in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a CAC.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Learn to operate forklift and stock selector lift with weight limit and harness.
• Work in environments exposed to hot and cold conditions.
• Learn to operate various Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• At least one year of experience with supply management systems.
• Familiar with SOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehousing duties following the storage plan.
• Verify materials against receiving documents and report discrepancies.
• Route materials to prescribed storage locations and organize inventory.
• Store, stack, or palletize materials per storage methods.
• Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials.
• Inspect materials for deterioration and damage and report findings.
• Remove material from storage and prepare for shipment.
• Possibly operate hand or power trucks as part of duties.
