Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to manage receiving, storage, and distribution tasks on site in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will verify materials, report discrepancies, palletize items, and support inventory accuracy while following safety and procedural guidelines.

The role requires at least two years in a warehouse, proficiency with Excel or a warehouse system, and the ability to obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of warehouse experience in warehousing and material movement.
• Experience with Excel or a warehouse management system.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Able to work with a variety of people professionally.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hazardous material inventory per regulations.
• Process storage and issue documentation in the inventory system.
• Validate stock numbers and requisitions for purchasing.
• Perform stock inventories and prepare replacement items.
• Perform general duties such as file maintenance and workspace upkeep.
• Match item data to receiving reports and organize storage locations.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely and follow SOPs.
• Work overtime as needed and perform other assigned duties.
