Job summary

Avna is seeking an experienced warehouse operations professional to oversee MRO inventories, raw materials, and finished goods. The role focuses on optimizing storage layouts, improving material flow, and ensuring ERP-accurate control of inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse management or supply chain environments, with emphasis on inventory operations.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating receipt and movement of materials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize warehouse management for MRO inventories, raw materials, and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy and space efficiency.
• Supervise staff and coordinate resources for receipt and internal movement of materials, ensuring accurate execution in physical and ERP systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safety culture among warehouse staff.
• Collaborate with planning, production, procurement, and logistics to ensure material availability and timely shipping of finished goods.
• Maintain FIFO adherence and align with procurement to match production schedules and customer requirements.
• Identify and execute process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste, and streamline packing and shipping procedures.
• Quantify cost reductions from space optimization, inventory management, and process improvements, and document outcomes.
• Create and update documentation such as procedures, instructions, flow charts, reports, or metrics as needed.
