We aren't looking for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk. We need someone who is comfortable setting priorities, jumping in when needed, following through, and helping create accountability. Our warehouse and inventory systems are currently being updated and streamlined with increased automation, standardized procedures, and improved inventory controls. You'll help oversee these systems, make sure they're being followed consistently, and identify opportunities to make them even better. Why You Should Join Our TeamYou'll Have the Opportunity to Make an ImpactYour work directly affects the success of our Electrical Service Professionals and Installers in the field. When materials are organized, stocked, staged, and ready, our entire team operates better. We're Investing in Better SystemsWe're actively improving our inventory-management processes through technology, automation, standardized truck stock, and clearer procedures. You won't be walking into a warehouse without a plan. We're building the systems, and you'll help us make sure they work every day. You'll Be Part of a TeamThis isn't a one-person warehouse operation. You'll work alongside existing warehouse support staff and collaborate with our office and field teams to keep things moving. We Want Someone Who Can Help Us Get BetterWe value people who notice problems, communicate them, and help find practical solutions. We want you to follow our systems, but we also want someone who isn't afraid to say, "There might be a better way to do this."What You'll Help LeadWarehouse & Inventory OperationsHelp oversee the daily organization and operation of the warehouseWork with warehouse support staff to maintain accurate inventory counts and recordsEnsure established processes for receiving, labeling, storing, tracking, and staging materials are followedHelp maintain established minimum and maximum inventory levelsIdentify inventory discrepancies and coordinate their resolutionHelp maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouseEnsure established inventory-management procedures are followed consistentlyAssist with cycle counts and inventory auditsIdentify practical opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency without unnecessarily complicating established systemsField Requests & Material ReadinessHelp ensure field material requests are acknowledged and completed with urgencyCoordinate with warehouse support staff to stage materials accurately and on timeHelp ensure Service Professionals and Installers have the materials they need before scheduled workIdentify and address recurring issues that lead to unnecessary supply-house tripsCommunicate proactively when materials are unavailable, delayed, or require another solutionFollow up on requests to ensure they are completed rather than simply assignedTruck Stock & ReplenishmentHelp maintain standardized truck-stock inventoryCoordinate scheduled truck inventory checksHelp oversee replenishment of commonly used parts and materialsMonitor stock levels and identify recurring shortages, overstock, loss, or discrepanciesReinforce established material-tracking procedures with the field teamHelp ensure materials used from warehouse and truck inventory are properly accounted forDaily Leadership & AccountabilityWork alongside warehouse support staff to establish clear daily prioritiesHelp divide and coordinate warehouse responsibilitiesFollow up to make sure assigned work and field requests are completedAddress any recurring lack of urgency, incomplete work, and process failuresCommunicate concerns to management before they become larger problemsProvide consistency, structure, and accountability within the warehouseStep in and work alongside the team when neededHere's How We Measure SuccessOrganization & Inventory AccuracyOur warehouse should be organized, materials should be where they're supposed to be, and our inventory-management system should accurately reflect what we have.Material ReadinessOur field team should be able to start scheduled work with the materials they need.
