Mr. Electric of Charlotte Metro is hiring a Warehouse & Inventory Lead to drive day-to-day warehouse operations on-site in Concord, NC.

Location: 1027 Central Drive NW, CONCORD, NC, 28027 Warehouse & Inventory LeadMr. Electric of Charlotte MetroFull-Time | On-Site
Do you enjoy creating order and making sure things run the way they should? Are you the person who notices when something is running low, out of place, or falling behind before everyone else does? Do you enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and making sure a team has what they need to get the job done? If so, you may be exactly who we're looking for.
Mr. Electric of Charlotte Metro is looking for an organized, dependable, and proactive Warehouse & Inventory Lead to help lead the day-to-day operation of our warehouse, inventory, material readiness, and field-support systems. This is a hands‑on leadership position working alongside our existing warehouse support team. We aren't looking for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk. We need someone who is comfortable setting priorities, jumping in when needed, following through, and helping create accountability.
Our warehouse and inventory systems are currently being updated and streamlined with increased automation, standardized procedures, and improved inventory controls. You'll help oversee these systems, make sure they're being followed consistently, and identify opportunities to make them even better.
You’ll Have the Opportunity to Make an Impact. Your work directly affects the success of our Electrical Service Professionals and Installers in the field. When materials are organized, stocked, staged, and ready, our entire team operates better.
We’re Investing in Better Systems. We’re actively improving our inventory-management processes through technology, automation, standardized truck stock, and clearer procedures. You won’t be walking into a warehouse without a plan. We’re building the systems, and you’ll help us make sure they work every day.
You’ll Be Part of a Team. This isn’t a one‑person warehouse operation. You’ll work alongside existing warehouse support staff and collaborate with our office and field teams to keep things moving.
We Want Someone Who Can Help Us Get Better. We value people who notice problems, communicate them, and help find practical solutions. We want you to follow our systems, but we also want someone who isn’t afraid to say, "There might be a better way to do this."
Organization & Inventory Accuracy. Our warehouse should be organized, materials should be where they’re supposed to be, and our inventory‑management system should accurately reflect what we have.
Material Readiness. Our field team should be able to start scheduled work with the materials they need. Preventable supply‑house trips, missing materials, and last‑minute scrambling should be the exception, not the norm. Follow‑Through: Requests aren’t complete because someone was told about them. They’re complete when the materials are ready and the field team has what they need.
Accountability & Communication. Problems will happen. What matters is identifying them early, communicating clearly, finding a solution, and preventing the same issue from becoming a recurring problem.
Continuous Improvement. We’re looking for someone who can follow established systems while also recognizing practical opportunities to make our warehouse and inventory processes more efficient.
At Mr. Electric of Charlotte Metro, how you show up matters just as much as the work you do. Our culture is incredibly important to us. We follow the Mr. Electric Code of Values in how we treat our customers, our teammates, and our responsibilities. We believe in doing the right thing, treating people with respect, keeping our commitments, communicating openly, and taking ownership. We also believe that work can be challenging while still being a place where people enjoy coming to work and have fun in the process.
We aren’t looking for someone who simply comes in, does their part, and goes home without thinking about the team around them. We want someone who contributes to the culture, supports their teammates, communicates when something isn’t working, and genuinely wants the team to succeed.
Skills can be developed and systems can be taught, but attitude, accountability, and how you treat people matter here.
Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, inventory management, parts management, material coordination, receiving, distribution, stock replenishment, or a related environment is preferred.
Experience in any of the following industries could translate well to this position:
Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
Electrical experience is helpful, but it is not required.
Pay & Benefits $25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience
Within your first 90 days, you should have a strong understanding of our warehouse and inventory systems and be actively helping the team maintain them consistently. You'll help establish clear daily priorities, improve follow‑through on field requests, maintain consistent truck‑stock and replenishment routines, identify recurring inventory discrepancies, and reduce preventable material shortages.
You’ll also become someone our warehouse, office, and field teams can rely on to communicate, follow through, and help solve problems when something doesn't go according to plan.
Ultimately, success is simple: Our Service Professionals and Installers should be able to start their day confident that the materials and warehouse support they need are ready for them—and our warehouse team should have the structure, communication, and support they need to make that happen.
