Summary
This role will require the candidate to be onsite 5 days a week.
Role location: Denver Milk Plant
4301 Forest Street, Denver, CO 80216
1st Shift: Monday through Friday 7am - 3:30/4pm. After training manager is flexible to work schedule. Candidate must be open to occasional weekend work as well as overtime.
Role is 6 month assignment.
Responsibilities
- Cycle Count Inventory — Conduct ongoing cycle counts throughout the 6‑month assignment to verify quantities and correct discrepancies.
- Update Inventory System — Enter missing parts, update descriptions, correct quantities, and ensure all part data is complete and accurate.
- Parts Room Organization — Reorganize shelves, label parts, and maintain a clean, efficient storage layout.
- Process Excess Parts — Identify excess or misplaced parts located outside the parts room and determine what should be returned to inventory.
- Shelving & Stocking — Place excess or newly identified parts onto the correct shelves following company standards.
- Documentation Cleanup — Over the 6‑month period ensure all part descriptions, categories, and locations are fully updated and standardized.
- Support Inventory Audit — Assist with mid‑assignment and end‑of‑assignment inventory checks to confirm improvements.
- Assist Staff — Help technicians and team members locate parts and answer questions about availability.
Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience in a similar type of role.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft basic PC programs. Experience with CMMS nice to have.
- Experience with mechanical and consumable parts inventory procedures.
- Be able to lift up to 50 - 60 lbs.
- Standing pallet jack experience.
- Forklift certification nice to have.
