Job summary

Supply Chain / DHL seeks an Inventory Control Clerk to uphold accurate stock levels and verify inbound/outbound orders within the warehouse.

The role focuses on cycle counting, discrepancy reporting, and maintaining precise inventory in the WMS. Warehouse operations include Order Picker/Reach Truck tasks and adherence to safety protocols. Excellent training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months warehousing and inventory experience preferred.
• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift training within 30 days preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records and accuracy in the warehouse management system.
• Perform daily inventory management duties and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system records as needed.
• Adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product per procedures.
• Perform routine clerical tasks, such as filing invoices and maintaining records.

The core responsibilities of this role include: Cycle Count, Inventory, Warehouse, General Labor, Line Operator, Forklift, Quality Control, Material Handler, Machine Operator, Loader/Unloader, Cherry Picker, Order Picker, Order Picking, Shipping, Outbound, RF, WMS, Reach Truck

Position: Inventory Control Clerk

Shift: 1st Shift: Sunday - Wednesday 7:00am-530pm

Pay: $20.50

• -REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 1 years’ experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
• -REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 6 months’ experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.
• -At least 6 month’s experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
